Trial (& Muster) Information & Registrations
OPENS Trial Information
- Date: Sunday 16th November
- Times:
- Check-in open from 2:00pm (come at least 15 minutes before your trial)
- Open Mens & Open Womens: 2.30pm - 3.45pm (same timing, different fields)
- Open Mixed & U21 Mixed: 3.45pm - 5pm (trialling together)
- Where: Trials will be held at Hutt Park, Seaview Lower Hutt
- Meet at the Stop Out Clubrooms (it's a football club that WTA hires over the summer)

Registration Notes
- Players can register and trial for both a gender team and/or a mixed team (e.g. Lucy can trial for Open Women's and Open Mixed).
- Players can specify whether they are willing to play gender and/or mixed (e.g. Lucy might trial for Open Women's and Open Mixed but if both coaches want her, she'd rather play Mixed).
- Youth players (Under 18) - To be eligible to trial for an Opens team you:
- Must have already registered and trialed to play for your own age grade team first (e.g. if Lucy is under 18, then she must have attended Youth Nationals to be eligible for Opens).
- Get an excemption from the WTA Board because there are risks and issues associated with sending tamariki (those under 18 / not adults) to an adult tournament.
- If there are significantly more registrations than places on the current teams, then the WTA Board will consider forming additional teams (e.g. a 2nd Men's / Women's / Mixed team)

MASTERS Coaches & Managers
- 30 Mens: TBC (Head Coach)
- 40 Mens: TBC (Head Coach)
Other grades: so far we've only had interest from 30 Men's and 40 Men's. If you are keen to lead a different grade please email us at admin@wellingtontouch.org.nz
We'd love to have more Masters teams.

Fees
Open Nationals & Masters Nationals Fees
WTA fee per player = $270
- Included: entry, marquee, training tee, and incidentals (ice, 1st aid etc).
- Excluded: no accommodation, no flights, no vans, no food at all (no snacks, lunches, or dinners).
Note: individual teams often have some additional costs if they choose to enter extra tournaments/modules, or arrange shared food etc. You'll discuss these costs within your team.
